Simply mix with Glutinous Rice Flour and make firm dough, then cook it. While the dough is in the refrigerator start your sweet potato filling.

Instructions to make Sweet Potato Mochi:
  1. Place Roasted Sweet Potato pieces in a bowl and mash coarsely. Add 1 pinch Salt and Glutinous Rice Flour, mix and knead to form firm dough. You might need extra Flour. Make 8 to 10 round cakes.
  2. Heat Oil (*optional) in a frying pan, non-stick pan preferred, over medium low heat, and cook round cakes until golden on both sides and cooked though.
  3. *Note: If you like sweet Mochi, you can add 1 tablespoon Sugar to the dough. Butter can be used for cooking if you like it.
  4. Enjoy as they are or with Soy Sauce.

Simply mix with Glutinous Rice Flour and make firm dough, then cook it. While the dough is in the refrigerator start your sweet potato filling. Place a small pot of water on the stove over medium high heat and heat to a rolling boil. Peel and cube up sweet potato and add to boiling water. Place cooked sweet potato in food processor (or mash with a fork vigorously) with the sugar.
